Update: Sue and Kevin are extending the 2009 lure coursing season by popular demand and holding another event on October 18th. Racing starts at 11am as usual although you can arrive any time after 8.30am.
Sue would also like your views as to whether a Christmas lure coursing event would be welcome and, if so, what date would suit most people?

Sue and Kevin Rose will be hosting more Lure Coursing events this year. They were extremely popular last year so why not go along and have a try. It's all good fun. Scottish Deerhounds are the main attraction, but any dogs are welcome. Photo's courtesy of Ricky Bentley.
There is ample parking, tea and coffee. The friday evening events will have BBQ facilities. You will need to bring and cook your own food though.
Sue and Kevin don't run these events for profit. There is a small charge of £2 per dog for the whole day, this is to cover the costs involved in hosting the events.Sunday's race start time is 10am, with the first race being held at 11am. You are welcome to turn up anytime from 8.30am.
Prior to attending, please confirm with Sue which dates you would like to attend and please let her know how many dogs you are taking.
You can either contact Sue here, or if all else fails drop us a note and we will pass it on.
Sue is also hosting an event immediately after the breed show in April - this is to be for Deerhounds only, other dogs are quite welcome on the other dates. Contact Sue for more information.
