TOPIC: Fight for the bed

Fight for the bed 3 years ago #10913

It all started when...

Bree was not happy...

and protested by taking Terry's chair and hogged the Lappie

Re:Fight for the bed 3 years ago #10914

Then in comes Lockie

and wants the bed...

Mum...you know this isn't on...

I'll just lie here then...

Just a little closer...

Yep, little closer

Are you still here?...

I win

Wonderful sequence, thank you for sharing it. This sort of thing happens all the time at Taylor Acres, but never when I've got a camera handy.

Great pics, yes that happens a lot here as well. The real problems start when the terrier has the best bed. Luckily they don't hurt each other but there's an awful lot of noise. The terrier flies at Ben and Ben jumps on the terrier and pins him down.

we have so many beds and couches in the house, and they all seem to want the same bed or couch at the same time

Great pics, at least your dog is brave enough to go and get on the bed they want. All mine do is whine and winge until the dog who is on the bed moves. It is musical beds in my house.

Thanks for the lovely comments
Generally ours spread themselves around OK. I don't know what possessed Oscar to lie on the dog bed, he has never done that before. He is starting to go a bit loopy though so maybe he thought he was a dog...

Love those pics!!

(I couldn't see them when I logged on at work)

I've just finished nights, on Tues I had a delivery coming so decided to kip downstairs..... guess where I slept.....

of course, on the floor!! Leah had the sofa, tho to be fair it's not really big enough for me to lay full stretch, so I thought it would be easier to get the spare duvet and bed down in the middle of the floor...

Leah thought it was great, she could switch between the sofa and the duvet

Sort of the same at out place but at our place the Katz always win!!

Cat on deerhound sized bed, deerhound on cattledog sized bed, cattledog on floor! This is usually when deerhound starts eyeing the people sofa....

I have to shut my bedroom door just before bedtime as if I don't and he gets on the bed before I do, then there's no room left for me as he stretches out right across the bed.

Lovely pictures, Norbert isn't that polite, he just laying down on the cat, and they running off.

Re:Fight for the bed 3 years ago #11275

If Lockie is on the bed at bedtime, it is either a 5 minute chat and patting to rouse him "gently" or if we haven't time for that, then it is straight to the treat jar. When he hears the jar open he is off the bed in a nano second and lying on his bed waiting his treat
