Thought this might be fun -

The A to Z of the qualities required for a good deerhound owner.

A is for abstinence - well you can't possibly be out walking your hounds early in the morning if you've got a hangover!

B - Be able to resist getting hundreds of deerhounds

E is for the elves who have possessed my darling deerhound who angelic most of the time:huh: suddenly takes my new book from the table & tears the cover off???

F would have to be for fanatical.

G would be for graceful, well sometimes anyway

H.....is for how HAPPY they make their owners feel.

I - for them either being intelligent or idiots

Then J is for jocular as we all seem to be good humoured

K is for Keen, keen to take Deerhounds out no matter what the weather.

L: Lunatics. Nothing to add to that, really...

My son, Scott wanted to add M is for Mad. The dogs and us!We take them out no matter what the weather is like or how bad we feel! The dogs have their mad moments running and playing too.

N .....Nuts!! We are all nuts about our deerhounds...

O....OH, what have you done and or eaten? Often said in my house when guilt is on the hairy faces!

P is for Proud. I am very proud of my wonderful hounds

Q....quick,to get out of the way, when they're haring towards you oblivious to everything except eachother!

R....rescued! Me not the dogs! They are fabulous company, get me out of the house and help me chat to all of you folks!

S is for social both the dog and yourself. You will always find someone will talk to you when you have a DH.

T..tons of licks and kisses - tons of fun and pride that these wonderful hounds are in our lives
