Spring has sprung. Love is in the air. Aaaawwww.

Hi All, Spring is in the air that's for sure. A little romance just what the Dr. ordered.
Silly deerie mom that I am I tried to encourage a romance between Cailean & a potential future suitor newly arrived at Fernhill Easter weekend. The dog in question is Huntly D'Lux who could be a perfect match for Cailean in a brace. They have the same markings, almost the same facial appearance even the eyes are the same. Cailean was instantly smitten and careened around like a goof ball trying to engage Huntly in play. He seemed quite disdainful of this madcap hellion throwing herself at him. We went for a walk & thankfully Cailean turned her attention to a 115lb Newfoundlander that she proceeded to harass and flip over like a red deer about a dozen times. The darling thing would get up give a shake and head right back to her for more. Later relaxing around the fire Cailean tried to give Huntly kisses (persistent hussy!)the little blighter firmly grabbed her by the snout. Aiieee! Is there any hope for this romance? We'll see next visit.

Elsie Grey knows how to keep her man in his place I just hope she was not making too many promises...... I have not told her yet...but she will have an arranged marriage with a Deerhound in a few years..... so Merlot will have to be her toy boy on the side!!
