Hi all ,

one of my girls has an inflamed tendon in her left elbow which takes away a lot of her joy of life . Though I am doing all kinds of things(antiinflammatory/leash/homoeopathy) and know , it is most likely a lenghty healing process - I am curious to hear , what kind of experiences you have had with this condition and what your treatment recommendations are - what worked for your hounds and , how long did it take to heal completely out ?

Thanks for the input !

Verena ,who so wants all 4 off leash again.....

Sorry you have had no response to your post. I have no experience with this condition but wonder perhaps if hydrotherapy (swimming) might be an option. Have you 'googled' the condition?

The only 'cure' for this is rest and rest alone. Not the nicest advice I can give you, but an honest one.
The only comforting thing I can say to you is that she won't die of it, nor will it cripple her in anyway.
But it's certainly a great discomfort for her, and for an active dog also difficult to maintain.
When you walk her, let her walk on grass and/or sand as much as possible.

It's an irritated tendon.
