Anyone know how to stop a 20 month old maniac eating rocks? He is a shocker and will dig to find them. These aren't little gravel rocks, they can be as big as golf balls. He rolls them and bites on them and will swallow them. Not only am I worried about him breaking a tooth but also incase he clogs up or lacerates his bowel. Bree did this but stopped by 6 months.

Give him a big bone to chew on !

Try a muzzle, we used them when the dogs were unsupervised in the garden and could easily eat stones. They didn't like it at first but it stopped Mack and Daisy very quickly, they seemed to have grown out of the habit after a couple of weeks when the muzzles where removed
