I've used Immodium on Murphy when he had it a while back. His was from the stuff they put on golf course greens to kill worms, it really upset him, I let it go for 24 hours, starved him, then gave him Immodium, or a cheaper version 99p for 6 tablets, worked brilliantly.

He had a bad bout about 3 years ago, I was working from home luckily, he went outside to pooh and it was like a red tap, awful, then the sicking started, he was shaking so took him to vets, he jabbed him an anti sickness and gave him 'doggy' immodium and it cost me £60, he wasn't even worried that it was bloody diarrhea. Sometimes the blood is from where they either sick or pooh too much and split linings.

Incidentally, I have had the stomach bug from hell this week. Daughter got it last Saturday, I went to work Monday, came home, popped a leg of lamb in the oven at 4pm and by 5pm was in my bed, where I stayed until Wednesday, have never felt so ill in my life. Every muscle and bone hurt and walking the stairs was like climbing Everest. Plus side, I have lost 8lb this week!
But would rather be fat than to be sick. Now the whole family has it, apart from the dogs!
