Finally , Mac's new playmate has arrived. 8 week old Bedlington Whippet cross from Darlington. Comes from good working stock, so when he's grown up he should have lots of fun hunting with Mac and I.

Very much like a Deerhound, was his parents pure Bedlington and Whippet or do you think there could be a Deerhound Lurcher throwback in there too? He has the white blaze on the chest and a couple of white tipped toes too, so Dhoundy!

He's a real beauty, have fun with him. Is Mac feeling a bit put out?

It is uncanny how they look like DHs when they are young, but he is definately only Bedlington cross Whippet. Albeit from working lines.

Mac is behaving as normal, in fact all the dogs are acting as jealous for our attentions as ever... Apart from the Collie pup , who thought we had brought her a new toy!
It didn't take long for Brân to disabuse her of that thought. Despite his small stature he knows how to stand up for himself.
