Had my deerhound/cross to the vets,he has chipped a bone slightly on his front/left foot,outside toe.the chipp is on the outside straight after the nailbed/first joint.other than rest for the next 6-8weeks is their any thing i can apply to the outside to help the healing.the vet has cut the nail well back,no dressing ,just got to bathe foot in epsom salts after toilet walk.any advice welcome.

Wouldn't have thought much to help bone growth except time. Is there any flesh-wound?
