He only just 1 year old. Unfortunately, with the ground being frozen solid and/or covered in snow he's not had much chance to prove it. He is very keen, almost too keen ! He's not had his first catch yet , but he's had a few good runs. I don't believe in pushing pups too hard in the first year, it can put them off for life if they have too many failures. The rabbits on on my patch are very wary and more than a little lamp shy, and you don't tend to find them above ground during the day. Too many predators. Perfect lamping conditions don't come around too often, so I'm just waiting and hoping. He still has a lot to learn.
