Hopeing to get him up to Rumbling bridge this year. I am sure he will be a lot more interested in the lure than Mac is.

That's amazing! Would have bet money he had D/H in the mix.
Bet he's a good little worker though.

He only just 1 year old. Unfortunately, with the ground being frozen solid and/or covered in snow he's not had much chance to prove it. He is very keen, almost too keen ! He's not had his first catch yet , but he's had a few good runs. I don't believe in pushing pups too hard in the first year, it can put them off for life if they have too many failures. The rabbits on on my patch are very wary and more than a little lamp shy, and you don't tend to find them above ground during the day. Too many predators. Perfect lamping conditions don't come around too often, so I'm just waiting and hoping. He still has a lot to learn.

True what you say about conditions, there's no point going out when the moon's up.
Been awful this year in Scotland, had snow since before xmas, but it melted when the moon was dark, and we thought it should be good.Went out and not a breath of wind and so everything heard us coming. Now the snow's back and it's windy again!!
Good looking dog though, should be ok once he gets steady I hope for your sake.
