TOPIC: fun in the snow

Headed up to rivington pike in bolton this afternoon,to have a play in the snow, we dont get snow down hear - as its low lying ground, so have to go higher up,it was a steep ascent to the summit, but well worth it, although the 200 and odd steps took there toll.

What great photos. They looked like they had a ball and it also looks like a nice place for a walk. We wouldn't be able to take our dogs to where there were sheep. Lord knows what trouble they would do.

Mine arnt stock broken either lol,
the only resion i was able to let the dogs off is because the sheep are in the bottom pastures at this time of year,its all fenced and gated, walking through the pastures i did keep them on lead, and did nealy get pulled over a few times,
once you are up the hillside - unless you have a determind dog that will go back for them,
then its fine to let them off, but i made sure i was well out of sight of the sheep before i let mine off.

Lovely photo's, the hounds certainly had fun there. Loved the one of Penny sulking.... what a beautiful face she has

First time i have looked at you pics they are truly fantastic some lovely facial expressions, love the one of the brown dog in the snow well done I am now going to look at the others

Great photos,the dogs clearly enjoyed their tme out. You must have a decent camera to get the action shots.

The camera is a canon 450d - it still takes a lot though to get the action shots i want,
as you need good lighting, which isnt always possable with our weather.

Great pictures we only had rain wind and cold today. Loved the sulker I also have one of those Eris she hates the rain.
