Sorry.
I was advised to try Falkirk direction so have been posting Jed s photo to clubs pubs etc. in Plean, Cowie, Airth and working through the phone book in Falkirk. So angry at the people in ashop in Fallin as he was smiling at everyone one evening about 10pm,he had cuts and was filthy but they let him wander off in the dark. They can t remember if that was before or after Easter.

Re:Missing lurcher, up in Stirling, Scotland 2 years, 8 months ago #11473

It does sound like he is living rough, which I suppose is better than some unsavoury dog napping him. Funny some people, you see an animal in that state, you would have to bring him in and even if you are not a dog person, it seems apparent all is not well, you would call RSPCA or someone.

And we're mean't be a dog loving society ???

If this was before Easter then the man who picked him up in the street could still have him ,but if it was after Easter he may have got away........ but they can t remember.I have given the community policeman as much information as I could and asked him to keep his ears open.

Is it worth putting another post for Jed as it,s Appleby Fair and may be worth giving people who are going a reminder to keep an eye out.

Just a thought, but I assume that you have tried Stirling Council's Dog pound? It is actually based in Fallin, and they do try to keep the dogs for as long as possible..
Good Luck

Hi there, so sorry to hear about Jed, we hadn't picked up on this thread before now. We live in Whins of Milton, Stirling and will keep our eyes peeld for the wee fella!!

If you have a reward on offer, have you thought about the Stirling Observer. Try calling them and ask them to run a story with a picture. I have some good contacts are the SO so if you try and get no luck, drop me an e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Good Luck
