i have a3/4greyhound 1/4deerhound at 2years 4months old.his testicles have not dropped.can he still mate,or will he damage himself.I think he will, also my vet has said if they are not removed they MAY turn cancerious,if so how long can i leave it.can anyone help.

Personally I wouldn't use this dog at stud as this can be a genetic condition and passed onto any pups.If his ging gang goolies have not dropped at 2years and 4 mths then they aren't ever going to drop,sorry.JMHO.

He might well be able to mate, but will probably be infertile. In any event, I would agree that being cryptorchid is not something you would want to pass on.

I agree with everyone else. I doubt he would be fertile and it is certainly not a condition you would wish to pass on, and genetically it seems to be very dominant.

I agree with everyone, I would also take the vets advise and have them removed

I agree with everyone ....have them removed .Seeing as they are undescended they will probably be too warm anyway causing infertility.

Yep I agree with everyone regarding infertility and genetic disposition. For the dogs health I would have them removed.
