After winning another Runner-up Best in Show on the weekend, I just wanted to share what a wonderful year I have had so far with my Deerhound, CH Bhealaich Gotta Luv Me "Scraps"!
This year Scraps has been awarded 13 Best in Groups, 9 Runner-up Best in Groups. From those, he has gone on to win 4 BEST IN SHOWS and 2 RUNNER-UP BEST IN SHOWS along with multiple class in group and in show! He has over 800 points towards his Grand Champion title (1000 points needed).
I am so proud of my boy and looking forward to the future (he's just 2 years old).
I also have the pleasure of owning his daughter Anduril Ravenscraig "Raven", who will be one this month. She has had 4 class in show awards and multiple class in group awards and looks to be following in the steps of her sire "Scraps"! She has over 200 points and just needs 25 points after she turns one to get her Australia title (it is an Australian requirement that dogs must win 25 points after one year of age to get their title)! She has never been beaten by female Deerhound competition in the show ring and I am extremely proud of her achievements.

We're getting ready to head down to the Melbourne Royal Show on Tuesday 23 September - this is (along with Sydney Royal Easter Show) one of the biggest shows we have in Australia. Should be good fun!!
