I am very happy to report that we are celebrating Fin's 13th birthday here in sunny Oregon. Fin is Am Ch Boardwalks Dr Findlay JC, born Oct 19 1995. Sire is Am Ch Killoeter Ebony JC and dam is Boardwalk's My Gracious. Breeder Carol Hodges in Toronto Canada.

We had a lovely sleep in, on a new specially made birthday blanket from Auntie Joan Garth. There's lamb shanks planned for dinner, and no doubt lots of other treats as the day progresses.

Fin is doing wonderfully well health-wise. He's very mobile, beds and sofas don't challenge him (well, not too much -- Mom did add a pouffe bedside to help there)and every so often he has a case of the sillies, and runs around like he was two years old.

He is truly a once-in-a-lifetime dog and I treasure every day with him.

He has obviously had a wonderful life happy birthday and I am sure his breeder would love to know that he is still doing well

Carol (Fin's breeder) and I chat regularly. We put in a call to her yesterday especially to celebrate Fin's birthday. He's the last of his litter, outliving the others by nearly 3 years. She's super proud of him and all his accomplishments, not least of all is his longevity.
