Last night our bitch Brae (Jacobite Braemhor} whelped her first litter and we have 4 boys and 4 girls. The sire is the young dog we imported from Scotland last year Chas (Gentiehun Prince Charlie). Dave and I are very excited about this litter and are looking forward to seeing them growing up.

You're awake then? Sue phoned last night to say that the puppies had been born and that you guys were trying to catch a few zzzs. I told Tavish he was a grandfather, but he just yawned and went back to sleep in a marked manner, so I bounced about a bit and told Dileas she was now a great auntie and DownJess that she was a great granny. They said 'Yeah, yeah, cool,' and also went back to sleep. They have no sense of occasion.

Nonetheless, best wishes to Brae and the puppies from their Lyart relations in sunny East Lothian.

More seriously, she is being a wonderful mother, very attentive to pups, won't leave them etc... before the pups she was VERY selfish, which is why we call her Worm.....
But now she is being SO good.
All are well, pups happy and contented, not fat yet but Worm is working on that.
