Evening all
Just back from our monthly match at our local ringcraft class
and Fergal our 9 month old won best puppy. I know it's not such
a big deal but it is the first time he has beaten other dogs (we've
had 3, 3rd places at championship and the Deerhound limit show).
Just thought I would share that with you all.

Spring:)

Thanks Sid
The Judge was very nice about him speaking to me afterwards. How are yours with
the cough?

Ah, the cough. They're much better, thank you for asking, and hardly coughing at all and so far the Old Bat hasn't coughed once. It does seem to have been a reasonably mild version of kennel cough and hasn't slowed them down much that I've noticed - indeed Tavish and Dileas went AWOL this morning on the way home from the morning cavorting and didn't come back for about ten minutes, during which time DownJess and I watched a roe doe come belting out of the woods round the house and head across the field doing about Mach 3. Jessie couldn't believe that I wasn't going to let her off after it - the look of absolute disgust on her face was wonderful to behold. If they don't cough again, they might well go lure coursing at Sue's on Sunday. The fresh air will do them good!
