The whelping box is something my husband put together for me. It's 5X7 which gives Anna-the-mom plenty of room to get up and move about. There's vinyl decking on the floor for easy cleaning, and the pig rails are made of PVC piping which is sturdy yet light weight and can be removed entirely with minimal effort. Under the quilt in the far corner is a nesting pad for puppies to migrate to should Anna leave the whelping box, and overtop is an infrared brooder lamp suspended from an engine hoist so it can be raised or lowered as needed. The whole thing can be disassembled and packed away.

We've kind of taken over my husband's shop for the time being.
