It was strange to see my critque in the Dog World instead of my dogs.I had entered in Adult handling class at an open show in Bucks on the 10th Jan. Talk about nerve racking, I had watched all the juniors do their classes, they were so good very competitive, frightened me I was not going to go in the class but I actully enjoyed it.

As Chris is too modest to tell you......

"Adult Handling 26+. 1 Chris Wilson handling a whippet. This partnership went well together, she positioned herself and her dog correctly at all times. Left a good gap between judge and dog on the final presentation allowing a lovely view of her dog. Very good standards in this class especially between 1 and 2."

Chris - hope you don't mind me putting this up. You should be very proud. Well done!

Yes Chris well done!!!

Spot can you walk round Hatfield Park, you know where the house is? I was going to take mine their today as I had to pick son up from Brocket Hall GC but didn't know if it was open to public (could have walked round GC, son said there was lots of dog walkers!)

Hi Helen,
You can walk around Hatfield Park, but only between Easter and October for the general public and they'll charge you a small fortune to get in! Us special people have a pass for unrestricted access all year round (sorry ). We were there yesterday and discovered that they are breeding huge amounts of Fallow Deer - much to Callie's huge excitement. Fergal was excited to see everything; bunnies, deer, sheep, cows, people, dogs......

There are some lovely walks around Brocket wood and the golf course. We've been there a few times and also some lovely pubs for Sunday lunch.

Next time, pop in for a cup of tea!

Well done Wallace. Seems weird reading a critique on the exhibitor rather than the exhibit:)
