We went to our first look at a lure coursing in Austria. Unfortunately we have to drive nearly 3 hours so it is a bit too far to go there regularly.
If there would be a place closer to our home, I would love to see Clyde running.....
As you can see on the picture he was very courious.

He looks very cute and interested !
I understand your plight to have them closer - most of the trials I go to are at least a 4 hour drive ( 1 way of course ) through our beautiful mountain passes - in Canada not necessarily considered a long drive mind you and really enjoiable . Here they hold usually 2 trials over the weekend , so it is a bit more worthwhile the time and money spent . But , if I only go for 1 day I will leave at 4 am or so and drive back the same afternoon - thank goodness I and my hounds love driving/travelling together .
