No decent commentary from Sid I'm afraid, just my ramblings
IT WAS FAB
What a bunch of misfits and no hopers, all shapes and sizes and all too busy enjoying themselves to get on with proper racing. But enough about the folk, the dogs were on top form. I missed getting pictures of the majestic Borzoi, they looked amazing at full speed
HB gave a stunning performance in the 'I'll go if I want to and if you don't let go of me you'll be face first in the grass'race. HB junior supplied the quote of the day (see relevant thread)
Kevin must have fitted a turbo to the grass cutter, because we seemed to have a record number of runs in a very short time, or maybe time just flew because we were having fun. There was a bit of rain but it cleared off to leave a lovely cool day for the dogs, and Bryn, Fly and Daisy were giving it nanty today.
Rannoch and Bryn had a run together, Rannoch is Bryns new BFF and all the whippets were wheeching round
Sheila is a very keen dog, she's got the speed and the muscle of a true worker and when her brain matures to match her build she'll be uncatchable.
Dame Tarka had a real mooch about today, laughing in the face of old age

her and old Alfi were staggering about like a couple of extras in a life insurance advert.
Zac stayed on the lure, no nipping off for a look about or returning to the start without completeing the course. Tara gave her usual 100% (Her and Bella take this far too seriously)
Magic........well what can I say

she has got to be a one off, even with a pink sparkly collar and pink highlights she can't quite carry off 'regal' 'ladylike' or 'refined' She watched Bella take off after the lure, ran for a while then when she noticed there was no one beside her, returned to the start and began playing with....well anyone that would indulge her passion for fun.
I'll get some more photos up tomorrow
