Hi again folks, was off line for a few months but am back now!!!

Since I was last on here I have got divorced, and only have 1 deerhound, Leah, with me, but am getting on better with my ex and I still visit the other hounds regularly

So I have a lot of catching up to do on here.......(this may take a while )

Thats a lot of changed, not surprised you haven't had chance to get on here really, I hope everything is working out for you. The forums had a few changes, a useful one for you might be the recent posts tab at the top. Its a good way to catch up on all the recently active threads.

Welcome back and I'm sorry about the divorce, its a very upsetting process and it must have been difficult splitting up the hounds. I've been there so I know how it feels, only thing was we stopped short of divorce although the marriage is really over. We get on much better as friends than we did as married people and can still provide backup to each other when needed.

yes I'm getting on better with my ex, though I really wanted to take another hound with me, I'm not going to start any rows over it, I guess I do tend to back down for a quiet life lol

Leah likes being an only hound at the moment, she has a choice of 2 doggy beds plus the sofa all to herself now!!!

In fact she tells the others off if they get too excited when we go visiting

I know just how you feel. Been there, done that and got the t shirt. I get on better with
my ex now than I ever did when we were married. He even comes to look after the hounds for
us when Alan and I are at show and we are going to be home late. He even loaned me his car
to go to a show in Scotland when mine was in dry dock.

Yep, I'm skint, have signed away virtually all my equity in the house to enable the dovorce process to go through a bit quicker, but I am a helluva lot happier, and healthier too!!!
