What a great site, thanks and praise the good folks who run it for us all to enjoy.
We have just discovered it and had to join. We are the proud custodians of Bess our three year old Deerhound Lurcher bitch. Technicaly a lurcher as she is 1/16 part greyhound. And we will be looking for a sire for bess later this year to hopefully keep this amazing bloodline going.

We are looking forward to participating in a great group.

Forgot to mention we are in the Scottish Highlands near Tain in Ross-Shire.

Aye the big lassie is very photogenic.

Here is another one of her on her favorite chair. Poor quality -it was taken on an old phone-.

I love the way they sit with their bums on the chair and front half with paws on the floor - Murray does this and when he gets up he sort of unfolds himself . She has a very sweet face..

Is it me or is your girl very tall. That picture makes her legs look VERY long.
How tall is she ? My Mac started wolf whistleing when he the picture of her !

She is not that tall, 30" at the shoulder, quite light though at 31Kgs. So its probably the long slender look that gives the impression. Macs luck just might be in, puppies are on the plans;)
