Hello all,

My wife and I are American expats living in the Midlands (UK) these past eleven years. Ten years ago we adopted our hairy lurcher James Alexander Malcom MacKenzie Frasier, more commonly called Jamie, from a rescue center. He is about 14yo now and is the best dog ever. Now that Jamie has survived our two teenage boys growing up and moving back to America to go to Uni, we have been looking for a companion for him. We saw the poor lad Alphie that is up for adoption in the Lurcher section and have applied to give him a new home. We are going down Sunday to meet him and, if Jamie is not a complete GRUMPASAUR, take Alphie home with us.

Hello and welcome, so glad to hear that Alphie will be getting a new home, how exciting! Hope all goes well, had rescue lurchers for many years and they make the most loyal and affectionate friends!
