Hi Bettina, Fancy meeting you here. I found this site not long ago too. It's brillant.
I am having great fun finding my way around the site. (I'm not exactly computer literate) but it is interesting to be able to talk to other Deerhound addicts from around the globe. How is your new puppy doing and will we be seeing you at the shows?

Am ok, my puppy is still in Holland due to Uk import laws he cannot come here until September. I have visited him three times, and saw him at the German Breed show, Dagmar was judging, and found some lovely exhibits, she said if they were at Crufts it would of been a different story
there are some lovely hounds in europe.

hows things with you, I have a litter at the moment second one in 8 years so am tired

Know how you feel Bettina. Our pups are 23 weeks old today. We kept a dog and a bitch from the Rannoch x Orrin litter. This is the first time we have kept two from a litter and together they are very naughty and very wild. Life is much easier if you only keep one but Dalesman will be 7 this year and planning ahead, we thought it would be a good idea to have a stud dog waiting in the wings. I would love to see some photos of your Dutch puppy. Have you got any of the new litter and who are they by? Plenty of Red Bull should keep you awake! Sally

Hello Helen, I know your dog, but can't place your face. I am really bad at taking notice of other people in the show ring. I am usually to busy concentrating on how my dog is standing. Please say hello at your next show. Are you going to 3 Counties? Is your dog out of Ladygrove Spook? Sally

Hi Sally, yes Spook is Murphys Mum, Nimrod is his Dad. You will probably recognise me when you see me, I am the quiet one (well that is what Deerhound people think!!) ha ha. I tend to go to the shows on my own, husband wouldn't entertain it, him and my son play golf all weekend anyhow, or I take my Mum sometimes! She enjoyed Breed show, even if she nearly froze to death! I got a 2nd in Undergraduate, if you check Jeff Pooles photo's I am up there somewhere!
