Hello everyone out there,I've just stumbled across this site,why havn't I heard about it before?I'm fairly new to deerhounds(2yrs still a novice)live in the north-east of England and have 2 deerhounds + a 2week old litter of 8,and a retired greyhound.I look forward to chats and reading all the news and gossip!

Yes from my bitch Brackenland Tanis and sired by Killoeter Grilse.I'm just trying to work out how to add a pic!lol

Lucky you having a Brackenland D/H ! I have a Wolfscastle dog Murray aka Wolfscastle Hela who will be 9 months old on Friday.

There is another member Chilliwoman who has a Brackenland hound

Nope it's no good,I can't upload a pic ! I've no trouble putting them on facebook or videos on youtube,where am I going wrong?

I love the Wolfcastle dogs,Ebony's Choice is lush,we were up against her in the ring all season.

John did suggest me and you as Facebook friends the other day but I thought you probably wouldnt know me so declined! But welcome to this forum it is really good it is the DH equivalent of FAcebook!

I think you've got me mixed up with Helga have you?She usually goes to the shows with her mum,I'm normally with my husband Keith.Yes the pups are fantastic,I've been so lucky as it's a first litter for me,Megan's a brilliant mum.

No I know Helga. You ar blonde and took your Mum to the breed show last September gosh actually it was not this one gone September 07, Leicester. I know I have seen your Mum with you unless I am mixed up!

Welcome to the site. Sorry you are having trouble with the photos, almost everyone does at first!! The problem is nearly always that the photos are too big. There is a size limit of 2 MegaBytes per photo, a lot of the new digital cameras take images much bigger than that. If you email me the pictures to forum at scottish-deerhound.com I can resize them for you and fix the posts you have already made.
I've been trying to fix the problem for some months now, maybe next week....

I've just been looking at Chilliwoman's posts.Odelle is litter sister to my Megan who's just had the pups.Taryn is a really good friend of mine,we holidayed at their place after the Hound Show for a few days,it's a beautiful part of the world,my dogs loved it .It's been an awful year for her,I'm so pleased Odelle has a good home.We come down to Nottinghamshire quite often,my sons live in Mansfield and we break up journeys to some shows staying at a pub in Edwinstowe overnight,it would be nice to meet up sometime.
