Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce myself to you. I'm Truly Scrumptious (Truly for short) and I used to live with my mommy at the Cusidh Kennels in Lochgelly but these nice people took me to their home in Stirling where they have a big enclosed garden and I can run about with Findlay who is a 9 year old Deerhound cross, he's my best friend.

Findlay was a bit grumpy with me for the 1st hour but that's because I thought I'd chance my paw and lie in his bed, even though mommy and daddy left me a nice pink duvet cover. That's all sorted now and i use my own bed and my big brother has taught me to walk on the lead and do my business in the garden.

I'm very big for 4 months and love to eat and sleep all day but my favourite past time is chasing Gordon's rugby sock which has some really nice tasty nibbles inside. My new mommy is called Alison and she's fab, she gives me my dinner and milk every day and cuddles me on the floor......

Oh well, that's enough for just now but I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Cheers to all. I am a real newbie not sure how to post a new message in a topic. I'll figure it out I'm sure. I have a 21 month female deerhound- Fernhill's Cailean Adair and look forward to conversing with other dh lovers. We live about 50km outside of Toronto Ontario Canada where all is snowy white & very cold today. Cailean is a singleton at the moment and I am her poor substitute for a playmate. I am trying to convince my husband that 2 dh are better than 1. Pictures of Truly Scrumptious make me long for another, I get my puppy fix visiting our dh breeder and occasionally housesitting for them. Miss Adair is our empty nest filler with 2 sons now grown she commands & we supplicants happily obey.

Hi Elise

Thank you for cutting my nails. I'm settling in well to my new home and went for my 1st walk in the local park/woods today. It was only for 20 mins but I met loads of other doggies. I was a wee bit scared of them at 1st but Findlay, my lurcher brother, looked after me and before we left I was strutting my stuff and loving it.

I was glad to get home and lie on my pink duvet and have a long snooze before dinner.

I hope to come over next year to see you and Claire and have a wee run about with my mommy, brother and sister. I've added a piccy of Findlay and me in the woods.

Thank you for your lovely compliments. I've been busy socialising with my family's doggies and some friends too. I went for a walk in a huge field with two dobbermans and had great fun playing with them.

I am reading body language too and lie on my back when I feel a wee bitty intimidated but I do then have a wee run and nibble... tee hee!!

Here is me with my chum, Daisy, the Shar Pei. I let her lie on my bed with me for a cosy.

cute Why can't my house look so tidy?

What a lovely bunch of dogs. Really nice and good pictures too. I even feel guilty, so many on the couches. I don't let mine on the furniture, well at least not when I'm there. Every so often I catch sneaky Tess with her rump on the couch and she has gotten to where she doesn't jump off when I come in and surprise her. Deerhounds just gotta love 'em.
