How cool to have another wonderful forum for our breed. I look forward to catching up on all the topics so far!

By way of introduction, my name is Lyn Robb and I've lived in Hillsboro Oregon (USA) since 1984. I also lived for 12+ years in Swindon, Wilts, and am an expat Aussie! I classify myself these days as a child of the world

I discovered Deerhounds in 1990, and finally got my first dog in 1992 from Australia (Ch Weirskints Wind of Change FCh, aka McEwan). Since then I've been active in the Breed and our National club, started breeding in 1998 and now classify myself as a serious if infrequent breeder.

You can see lots of pix at my website www.tannochbrae.org but I've attached a picture of Harry, Ch Tannochbrae's Hyndsight JC, who achieved his championship just a couple of weeks ago. Harry is Ch #39 for me and I'm very proud of his owners Ann Hammond and Bob Wilkins in Nashville TN. Harry and his sister Hanna are much loved and have started Ann and Bob on that cherished slippery slope to more dogs (they added Thestral to their family just a couple of months ago)

I just discovered this site, with a prompt from another Deerhound list. It looks interesting. I'm in Florida and have two wonderful Deerhounds, Alice, Doxhope Lady of Lewis; Tess, Leoch Falla and a marvelous lurcher, Aeriss. At the moment, Tess is the top ASFA Deerhound in lure coursing. That is probably going to change as we missed the II and there are no close trials til the Fall. It's just simply too hot in the South East to run.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
