It was so nice to find this forum!
I am planning to buy i new deerhound and here I really can look and enjoy! Bought my first deerhound in 1994, was introduces to scottish deehounds by a coullege at work who had a litter after a swedish bitch from manticorns " Amanda" and the sire was a dog imported from Jaraluvs in the USA,
I promised to show her at some dogshows and that was it, My "Ragna" quickly tokk cert and ck and just turned 2 years she became Swedish Champion at Skokloster in 97 I was so proud!!
In 97 I had my first and only litter, and kept Vicki, Sagascotte Royal Stewart Victoria myself.
Vicki died 9 years old, and I miss her so much!
The last years I have had a small breed of Chinese crested, but they can never replace i Scottish deerhound, I miss the elegance, their eyes the way they look at you and the whole appearance.
Here in Norway I live with my husband my stepson at 17 and our little foster daughter at 3. I am headmaster of a private school/ kindergarden for children 0-6 here in thhe little town Kongsvinger about 100 kilometers from the capital Oslo.
Nice to be here I will continue to admire all your lovely dogs!

hehe I was going to say that this is were I live..... no Its where Vickis mother Stagrun`s Octopussy ( Ragna rekkverk) got her swedish champion title, beautiful place near Stocholm
