What a lovely pair of hounds you have. We had a similar blonde lad for 18 years who we adored so it made me smile to see your boy. He is lovely as is Amy.

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site from Ben and myself. Your hounds look lovely. What a lovely part of the country you live in, there must be lots of space for your dogs to run.

Re:New to the forum 3 years, 3 months ago #5950

Hello from a very snowy Watford (Nth of London)
Lovely dogs, I have one deerhound called Murphy, but seing the picture of your Lurcher makes my heart sigh! I do love them, we had several over the years, and one Kai was very similar to your boy, we think 1st cross DH/Greyhound.

Hi, I'm not sure what cross Charlie is, if you look at my other posting you will see a better picture of him. He is about 25mm shorter than my DH Amy, & he's wider, his head is also wider than Amy's, & his coat is quite thick including an undercoat.Charlie is 43kg. Did Kai have a deerhound type coat & what height was Kai -Deerhound or greyhound height ?.

Hi Camuscuin and welcome to the site. Whatever he is, your lurcher is very impressive. My first lurcher many years ago was a threequarter DH,quarter Greyhound. He was about 30in. and looked very like a pure but had a really dense undercoat which I always assumed came from the Greyhound. Unfortunately, the only photo I have of him is a head shot. By the way, how are the midges on Mull.

Welcome to the site. Love the hounds and surroundings. I used to have a lurcher DH x Greyhound wheaten colour.
