Its diffiult to tell as the picutues arnt that clear, he does look to have collie in him,
more than likily he's probably a lurcher, he's deffantly not pure D/H though.

maybe greyhound deerhound 3/4 grey 1/4 deer?

Hiya - he is not a purebred Deerhound and definately has some collie in him. He looks like a nice dog

I think your dog looks beautiful, the type my husband would definately want to own....again! We had several Lurchers over the years and I think your boy is Deerhound/Greyhound/Collie. He has the colouring and markings of a Deerhound, the coat of a collie (it looks soft in the pictures) and the head and build of a Greyhound.
What a stroke of luck you two came into his life and rescued him.

What is his name? and where abouts do you live?

he is a wonderful dog and so affectionate. my partner rescued him from a house as he was being ill treated and left to do his own thing. he is a totally different dog now. our pride and joy! he has a rough coat all over he does. i will upload some decent photos of him

Ive just seen Allan's post on hunting life. Looking at this picture,
I would say the bone comes from a deerhound, the broadness of the head would suggest some Bull terrier in there. Ive never seen a 1st cross DH x BT , but I could imagine thats what it would look like. Although I'm not certain there isn't any grey in there aswell.

Umm, a different shot and I can see the broad skull. Definitely Greyhound in there, he looks more brindle in this picture.

Possably bull/collie/grey to deerhound - adding the deerhound would give the hight,
there looks to be a little bull in there, but its very diluted,

If it was a first cross, the bull would be more prenounced.
