They were doing limericks on another forum so I thought I would do a deerhound one on this site, anyone else?

There was a deerhound call Daisy
who was incredibly crazy
she'd run all about
giving a shout
but now she's just terribly lazy

Heres one my mum wrote that I posted on here once before...
A dashing young deerhound named Trevor
Was out for a walk in the heather,
He found some fox poo
And did what dogs do,
Now the sofa’s forbidden for ever.

There was a deerhound call Mack
whose recall was very slack
he'd go off for a run
have some fun
then return and hit the sack.

There once was a Deerhound from Herts
who put up with his little brothers farts
One night he left home, all on his own
and now he is living in Berks

With a maniac fondness for turf.
He's destroyed the garden
Tail wagged with abandon
And plants desecrated with mirth.

There once was a Deerhound called Bree
Who loved to rest on my knee
An ear rub she got
Plus a pat on her bot
And her tail would wag with much glee
