A weeks or so back I was invited to a picnic by some Brittany (as in the gundog) friends down in Hampshire. Oddly I had to go without my Brittany as he had a very unscheduled emergency stay in the vets courtesy of a horsefly so I took Brice on his own.

I can honestly say he had a ball, Brittanys are not the easiest breed for a sighthound to run with but he did superbly. He especially enjoyed lying in state on my picnic rug being slipped bits of everyones lunch while the mad gundogs hurtled round loads.

Ah that is lovely. We have been camping with Afghan and Visla people over the summer at the shows and each one of them have said "why don't we have a deerhound". Mack worked on them all individually over the summer and each one of them was convinced that he loved them the most - charmer!

They do us proud our breed. Well done Brice
