The 3 mile walk along the beach from Seahouses to Bamburgh is fantastic.

Hi Elvee
That looks a fantastic place. One of these days we'll get to that part of England hopefully.

My favourite beach area is Tentsmuir which is a lovely forest area as well as an outstanding beach in Fife Scotland. It's effectively round the corner from St Andrews. St Andrews beach is also lovely but you need to get away from the town end to let the dogs have a good run.

Here's a picture of a young Banrigh and Creubhag enjoying a run there.

Great photo Lynne, Megan looks fab. Beach in Wales my favourite on the Gower Penninsula!

We were down in Irvine beach this afternoon, just as the heavens opened.

We had nipped into the Land O' Burns show at the Magnum Centre (which I had forgotten to enter) but we were too late for the hounds. Met some gorgeous Great Danes though.

Here is the bold Murph at Irvine in February of this year. It's weird to think that Mara was only 2 weeks old when this photo was taken, and we hadn't met her yet...

Wow very nice too. My beach is Sandwich bay in Kent. Sand dunes and beach it is a private estate so I have to pay but it is worth it. I will look for the pictures.

Chris, we were down there in the summer, my son was golfing at Royal St Georges. We walked the course with
him but as it was a huge competition, we didn't have dogs with us. I could see the beach from the course
but when I went to go down there I had to pay, so didn't bother, ended up getting fish and chips and driving
back home.

You can walk from Sandwich across Royal St Georges or St. Andrews to get to the beach that way you dont pay. Mind getting through the swing gate would be fun with the long dogs. My granddad used to caddy at the R. St. Georges for Gene Sarenzen and the prince of wales who abdicated. My claim to fame!!!

My favouriter beaches are Harlech, Wales and St'Ives, Cornwall. Unfortunately I've not been away on holiday for years as I've had nobody to go with.

I did visit a friend in Anglesea a few years back so here's a video clip of ben playing with our Terrier on the beach and dunes. It's not the most picturesque of beaches but the dogs loved it.

My favourite beach is in the John Muir Country Park near Dunbar. I took the dogs down there today and after DownJess had nipped out of the car; double-guessed which way we were going and got it wrong; and been found and collected, we crossed the salt marsh (squelch, squelch) and went down through the dunes to the foreshore. The tide was out and we walked for about a mile and a half along the beach in glorious sunshine and a slight breeze, watching the sea anglers, surfers and kayakers doing their thing, then round the headland, stopping to say hello to a rather handsome lurcher and his human and check out the birds, and back through the woods, hardly meeeting a soul thw whole way round. As I was crossing the car park, I met a lovely group of people with a whole bunch of rescue Greyhounds and a gorgeous Galgo and a medium size Podengo and stopped for a chat. They were just setting out and I was running out of legs, otherwise I'd have done the circuit again! However, I understand there's a Greyhound walk next Sunday at the John Muir - 11:00 am start. I'm planning to be there - anyone else coming?
