TOPIC: More snow for 2009

More snow for 2009 2 years, 5 months ago #17288

Well, we can years without seeing any, then we get hit twice in one year. I hope everyone in the UK is ok and are out enjoying the snow with their hounds. What a pretty setting, Christmas lights twinkling and snow on the ground, oh and I have a grand baby due Christmas Day too....it's beginning to feel alot like Christmas!!!

My boys last night, about half an hour after it started snowing, they kept going out in the garden and became puppies again, note the terrier calling for a game of chase! so sweet.

We took our two out last night about 10 O'Clock and they loved it, running around, chasing each other, sticking their noses' into the snow.
The wind was blowing a gale and there was lightning! (which was really weird).
But the light was fantastic, the dogs really stood out and looked stunning (I know they always do but even more stunning).

Bryn shot off in the snow, after an imaginary lure. Big manic circles while grabbing lumps of snow. Up pops bunny......Bryn picks up bunny.......Short, loud squeak.......Bryn continues in big manic circles with ex-bunny in his gob. Lovely Christmas scene, snow covered trees and a field with big, blood red circles.

I don't think Bryn has grasped the 'goodwill to all' Christmas message.

My hubby has just been over the golf course with our two, about 6 inches over there, thick fluffy snow, Murphy shot off after a Muntjac, thankfully it got away, but it gave him a good run anyhow, he is now tucked up in his bed.

No snow here in Shrophire, nor was any to speak of earlier in the year. When I was a child it always used to be Shropshire that was in the news for snow but not these days.

I agree, we want to have more snow in the Czech Republic too. I love the "white Christmas" and our deerhounds enjoy the snow too. Since wendesday we have some snow here ... You can see how Randis was happy yesterday ...

In sweden we also have a lot of snow. And Norbert likes it very much. When the first snow had come we were out with the camera.
