Well thought I hadn't mentioned Canix recently! We've been to a few outings for the 09/10 season. Still no other deerhounds to report but I did persuade Rob to take Hettie and his brother Dave to take his Collie, Sam, earlier this month to the Sherwood Pines event.

Pleased to report that Banrigh and I have totally sorted out cornering now. Corners are even fairly successful when we run with Hettie as well. However, times are - well lets just say - still requiring improvement.

Also for all you Scottish runners CaniX are running their first event in Scotland at Glentress, Peebles on 11 April next year.

No unfortunately not as the CaniX day clashes with the showing. I was going to try to do both which would have worked if the deerhounds were first on in the ring as I would have probably been finished in time. But we're on after the Finnish Spitz this year so it's a no go time wise. I could explain to my Mum that CaniX would arguably be more fun cf showing but that's a no go too!

So I'll try to get my entry accepted for 2011 as it will hopefully be on then as well. Hoping to get to Cheltenham on 23rd May instead this year. Have you got anymore runs planned? Elise

Nothing yet. I did have one planned before xmas last year, but got struck by nasty flu bug which lasted about 2 months, buggered up my fitness, so now I'm back on the treadmill. Will try and get another one in soon.
