TOPIC: Great Artist

Great Artist 2 years, 3 months ago #19201

Last year I commission Christine Varley to do a painting of Odelle and Twist and if you check out this link and scroll to bottom of page you will see that she has the Twist half of the pic on her website.
She really was great, she came to the house and spent two hours (due to the hounds wanting to play) taking photos then within a month I had a great painting delivered by hand to me.

Hi, lovely paintings, especially the one of Twist! Another great artist that does beautifull work can be found at nobledogs.com I have had my eye on the one called Foghound for about a year, at 28 inches high would be great at the end of a long dark hallway with just a little light on it!

Hello Chilliwoman,

Many thanks for the Link.
Yes, Christine Varley is a great artist for pet and animal portraits.

Maybe let a portrait paint from my Yoki, if she is older.

Best regards
Joerg and Yoki

Lovely portrait of Twist. Some artists have real troubles with front on images of Deeries, maybe because of their long snout, but yours looks great.

I also love the work from Nobledogs

Thanks everyone......the one hanging in my sitting room is even better!
You are not wrong about Nobledogs, they are great...almost like photos. Funny how they are all SOLD!
