I have today been accepted on a foundation degree course in animal science - something I have wanted to do for a long time. The 3 year p/t course starts mid september and I can't wait!

Since my suspension from my job I have re-evaluated where I want to go career wise as I am sick of working for s***s. My aim is to work in my local wildlife park

Thats great news, Houndy. Sounds lke a course you'll truly enjoy and one that will lead to a career with animals. Where is it based? Maybe the suspension has a silver lining after all!

The course is in our college in Pembrokeshire. Apparentely they have had a lot of interest from people like me who are fed up of what they are doing and are looking for a career change so I wont be the oldest 'mature' student on the course I believe in trying to get something good out of bad so this suspension has made me take the plunge and go for something that I have wanted to do for a while but have always found an excuse not to do so. The course tutor has told me that I will get opportunity to bring my deerhounds into the course work so I am hoping that Ardneish will soon be back as I will be wanting to pick her very knowledgable brains

yep - tried this - managed to resize intended photo to small, deleted original avatarr but this just re-loaded, not the resized photo!
