Thanks, I'd normally be at work but it's our half term.

If it's Midland Counties you mean, I would have been there but Dileas is coughing so we're staying at home instead. Sue Rose and I were at Hound Association of Scotland show a week past Sunday, and we think that's where our dogs picked it up. Sue phoned me on Monday evening to say that her Mini had started to cough and by Tuesday morning, Dileas had also started. So far, Tavish and DownJess are OK, but with Dileas spluttering all over them, they'll probably get it as well. Why do people insist on taking dogs who've been exposed to shows? Surely a piece of card's not that important?

I know what you mean. Mack caught kennel cough at his first show.

I did enjoy myself at the show today with Daisy. She was a little trooper considering when I first got her she was scared of her own shadow. She seemed to enjoy herself.

I went with a friend who has Afghans and she commented about how friendly the deerhound lot are. I have to agree as everyone was lovely. Unfortunately we couldn't stay long as my friends Aunt is in hospital and she wanted to make afternoon visiting so we had to head back early.

First show out the way shouldn't be so scary next time. Thanks to Sally and Alan for being extra friendly faces.

I have to agree with that, Sally and Alan are friendly!

How did Daisy do? What is Daisy's kennel name?

She didn't get anywhere despite the round of kisses she gave to the judge who I have to say didn't object. It was a lovely introduction for her.

There was no Minor Puppy today so she was in with the bigger girls. I was proud of her she did try.

Sorry Answer to your other question.

Kingrock Chieftain's Choice.

Hi all
Were were at the show today, didn't get anywhere with our dogs though. I wanted to come over and say hello to you Sally - Elise pointed you out, but I never got chance until you were in the ring! Maybe next time -LKA for us I think. In fact I hardly got to speak to anyone, but I had my hands full with our Lachlan most of the time or fetching coffee/holding dogs. He was on really good form and it was his best show by far (he is two now). He seemed to want to spend most of his time with the Shelties....
Glad you had a good day MrsMc. The Kingrock breeders have a new website, here... www.kingrock.co.uk/ or its in the directory.

Rob
I think Elise got a few pictures, not sure if they will come out or not though as it was quite dark for our little camera.

You and Daisy did really well Sarah. You can't expect a puppy to be on their best behaviour and stand like a rock but Daisy moved beautifully for you. Indoor shows are always a bit daunting for puppies as well because they are quite noisy.

Elise pointed you out Rob but didn't get chance to come over to say hello, too busy getting dogs and Alan ready. Alan is too laid back for his own good and leaves everything to the last minute before he goes in his class. It drives me mad!

We will be at LKA but we are not showing any dogs. I am going into hospital on 12th November to get my ligament graft on my ankle, so I will be at LKA but I will either be in a wheelchair or on crutches. My friends, Joss and Sue, are hoping I will be in a chair so that they can do their Christmas shopping and pile it on top of me.

Good luck Sally with the operation. Will be thinking of you. Know what you mean re pilling stuff on top of things at a show. Lachlan's push chair comes in very handy there. The problem will be though that they'll insist you walk towards the end so they can put more stuff in. That's what we do to Lachlan!

Well done MrsMc - you're on a roll now.
