Hi,

Anyone got Deerhounds in the Hook Hants area... Maybe be nice to meet up and let our boy run with yours?

I live in Watford, not a million miles away and know someone in Croydon, we keep saying we are going to meet up and have a good walk, maybe when the weather breaks. Quite fancy a trip to Windsor Great Park!

Hi Helen,
Sounds a possibility... Our boy Merlin is 16wks, so maybe in a month or so he'll be up for a good play... How old is yours?

Murphy is 4, he has never had another dog to play with, we have a Border Terrier, and they 'mouth' play, but it is a shame, maybe wait until your baby gets a bit bigger and stronger, it would be lovely to have a good walk with other DH owners.
We have another DH where I live, but unfortunately my terrier shoo's him away and won't let him play with his Murphy! I would have to leave him at home if we meet up.

hi lurch8252
i live about 15mins away from great park,i wouldnt advice it unless you have complete control of your dogs!!! alot of cattle, horses galloping through, but worst of all lots of deer!!! the trouble is its very open so they can spot one in the distance and keep it in their sight for miles!!! there is much better forests by me which is brill for sighthounds.

Merlin is 16wks. How old is yours?

Hi Rachel,

Maybe we can meet up in the field nr Old Basing one sunday morning?
Its a large enclosed field, and Merlin, I'm sure, would love a run with your Deerhound or Lurchy.

Let us know.
