Does anyone know much about deerhound art? I am looking to find out more anout a piece. It has the royal kennel -Queen Victoria (?) and she is sitting. There is a Borzoi, Scottish Deerhound right near her, behind there are chain runs. There are numerous others breeds present as well. I have acopy of this, but not with me right now. I purchased it over 10 yrs ago at an old antique store in the country side where my farm is. I have tried online at many sites - noluck as yet...

I was up all last night...not because of Zippo..just pain. So entertained myself on line - of course - looking for Deerhound art. Wow - talk about frustrating. Is it me or what...Ten yrs ago I spent alot of time of the online...handling projects for Hoflin publications...it was sooo much easier. There seems to be so much crap on the searches. I was looking for Kaiser porcelain dog figurines...in the 2nd page...sex deviants came up..What! is there somewhere one can complain to? This seems to happen often..don't understand how they now compile the searches..it used to make sense. Anyway..I am also looking for a Royal Dux sighthound statue..lady with hound..anyone know the name?

Unfortunately the sex sites hijack all the search terms, and although the search engines do a lot to filter out this sort of 'spam' some things still get through.
We get several hacks on this site everyday from some very dodgy sources. I always try to keep the site right up to date to cover us against any new threats or vulnerabilities. They search the web for any site that has a weakness and then try to exploit it.

Anyway back to the art.. Can you be more descriptive of the item you are looking for?
Maybe we should have a classified page and you could post a wanted ad?..

A lot has changed in 10 yrs. Goggle seems to take MSN when doing searches.
I will have Don make a copy of the photo of the picture I have of the one from the previous post...looked high and low on line for days and nights..no luck. I purchased it about 15 yrs in an antique shop near my previous farm...about 1/2 hr east of the city. Was thrilled...if I hadn't shown my excitement I could have gotten it for lessmy friend said..don't care...just thrilled to have it. How lucky to have Borzoi and Scottish Deerhopunds in one picture. Would love to find out all I can about it..maybe find another??? Also - does Royal Doultan do or done in the past a lady with Deerhound - have already Afghan and one w/Borzoi - now I need Deerhound.
