If anybody is looking for an adult deerhound there are two males, both 2 year old for sale, one has no papers both separate adverts. I do not know if this should be posted here. They are on pets 4 home site.

Yes - I saw those adverts. One in Scotland and one in Reading Berkshire.

I think 500 quid for a 2year old dog with no papers is a bit much. What do others think?

the dog in scotland was advertised the weekend of the breed show and was advertised as a wolfcastle breed dog an they were told at the breed show about the dog been advertiesed
I did ring up and talk to the people and they are getting rid of the dog because they can not walk it anymore
I strongly agree that asking £500.00 for a 2 year old dog is our of order I would not even think of asking that price for a puppy that was over 6 months old surley it's the home that is more important

Yes, I agree Sue. I also rang up about the dog in scotland (the one on pets4homes is a different one)and they told me it was a wolfscastle dog and was from the same litter as my Murray. I advised them to ring Kim and Zoe but dont know what happened after that

I've just found this thread. Is the reason they can not walk him any more a temporary thing, illness etc? If it is, I live close to Campbeltown and would be quite willing to look after him for a few months or so if they really want to keep him. I didn't know there were any more deerhounds on Kintyre apart from mine and JeanGs.

if it is the one in Campbelltown the guy mark has had his shifts changed to 12 hours and the dog is being left on his own for too long
