Thanks Dave, we have tried out SO many different names on her: Cara, Tara, Tarka, Tui, Sue, Pam, Kate, the list just goes on and no. Sarah wanted to call her either "16" or "40 minutes" and Sarah is normally on the ball with names. I have never had so much trouble getting a name out of a pup (or any species) before. As we all know all animals have several names: the one their mother gives them, their pedigree name, their "dog world name" ie "the Mitey hunter", and their past life name ie we had a wild piglet called Priscilla Presley. So this pup has been a wee bit of a conundrum name wise.
However she is a character and a half. She cuddles up with the kittens and eats with them out of her bowl. She loves to go exploring with auntie Faye. She gets to sleep on Jags bed and chew his bone, and follows Paul around when he's about. In the evenings she sits on the back of the sofas to watch TV. In the car she sits in the spare car seat (for our neighbours wee girl) in between my girls. She's growing by the day and we are just delighted with her. I've entered her for her first show in September in the baby puppy class.
Thank you so much again for choosing her for us!! and sorry about the name - but she is a pixie!!
