Did anyone go? (Spring & Sue did with their dogs, I know) How was it? Did 'that' programme have any effect on visitor numbers? I think we should be told...

How did you know we were there!!?? I think you know everything!

We covered the deerhound booth from first thing Sunday to about 4pm (then handed over to a lady with a lovely Brackenford bitch whose head is exactly like Callie's (dog, not lady)).

It was extremely busy and, unexpectedly, I didn't get a chance to read my book and Robert didn't get a chance to finish his homework! We haven't been for three or four years, but it seemed just as busy as then - huge queues for toilets and refreshments.

Callie enjoyed being fussed for the first hour or so, but then decided it was quite undignified. She laid at the back of the booth, doing her best looking down the nose, regal pose. Fergal however thought it was huge fun. All those ears to lick, all those people telling him how wonderful he is. He's such a tart!

We tried to have a look around after our stint but the crowds were still so big and my feet hurt, so we gave up.

It was fun. We three and the dogs enjoyed it, and we met some nice people.

A success I think.

Sue
