Went up to nefyn with friends at the weekend, a friend has a van
on a private caravan park - so in turn for taking some pictures of her dogs
we got a cheap weekend away

I quite enjoyed it - just a shame layla wasnt so enthusiastic,
she starved herself for most of the weekend, only eating less than half a bowl of food
and then hurt herself, so ended up being a grumpy moo.

On the beach - it was mostly large pebbles, till the tide went out.

little skipper.

In the van playing.

Sunset

Next morning it was glorious.

So headed for the beach.

By the afternoon it was pissing down and stayed mostly that way the rest of the weekend.

Friends dogs who owns the van.

Some more hear.

The little skipper is very sweet.

Its a lovely place Houndy - just a shame we couldnt stay longer, planing on going back though.
I think Layla was just home sick, she had a lot of upheaval before she came to me,
so dosent do change verry well, she did love the beach - but after the first night,
once back in the van, she sulked, when we got home, she scoffed a bowl full, like shed been starved, i think walking on the pebbles also agravated her muscle problem, so that didnt help.

Brilliant pictures, fantastic scenery, just a shame the weather didn't hold. I have to say, I love that little Skipper, what a real beauty, is he Collie/Whippett mix?

He's a real mix - bull deerhound saluki greyhound x deerhound beddy greyhound,
only 10 weeks old - and god is he one hell of a confident pup,
in the van playing with layla, he fell off the end of the couch - stright in to the water bowl
with in seconds he was back for more.

Friend bought him out of the back of a van at a game fair,
we did tell her not to, but for a tenner who can argue lol
