You beat me to it I was about to post the same question and then saw that you had done it

I want to know how much roughly it costs to transport a dog from scotland to wales. This question is for a friend as she has seen a dog (not a deerhound) she wants but she doesnt drive and was thinking about using a pet transport company. I know nothing about this so will be interesting to get others views/advice

It would depend on who you use,
quite a few i know do use the greyhound transporters
as they are traveling all over the country constantly and some will tye it in
with other dogs they are transporting.

If the dogs from rescue though - you could ask the rescue if they could help
i know with Lurcher Link, we've helped transport dogs all over the country to
their new homes.

theres one bloke who does door to door, not bad price.
