I am poorly bad today and I think the hounds know it as they have been very quiet

I think I am coming down with this fluey bug that's doing the rounds - I am so mad cause I never usually succum to anything but I have been under a lot of stress at work lately and am probarly run down. I HATE being ill Mainly cause I haven't got the energy to walk them hounds. We have only been out on 2 short walks today

Poor Houndy. Snap, I too have this flu bug and mine haven't had any sort of walk today So 2 walks is good. I am currently on Day Nurse wrapped up in a dressing gown, on the sofa. Nose streaming, head pounding and I look like Rudolph, also been under stress at work, so hasn't helped in fighting bugs. My boys are also quiet and asleep on their beds, they know andit won't harm them for a day to be in.
Plus it hasn't stopped raining up here in Hertfordshire, all day, heavy cold rain, so they would have probably stayed in anyway!

Poor Houndy and Lurch. I hope you both feel better soon. Nothing worse than fluey bugs, they really can knock you for 6. Fingers crossed you both feel much better for Christmas as you can't feel miserable at Christmas time, it is Law!

Poor Lurch is still not well, will this ever go? Dosed myself up with Day Nurse and have been out with my boys for half an hour or so, they stretched their legs and had a run around with a flat old football, so that has made me feel slightly better knowing they've had some excercise. They are snoozing soundly now!

I also felt a bit better when taking hounds out in fresh air but now I am back home it is coming back - fast. I have to go into work tomorrow but really wish I didn't have too.

went into work today really suffering - my boss said I could go home - after I had done about 10 tasks which took me until 4pm which is the time I finish anyway! So I'm thinking, sod him! I'm going sick for rest of the week

You go girl!! No point being there and spreading germs anyway. No one will thank you for it.

Oh, you poor soul, Houndy; that hurts so much. Keep wrapped up and cosy; it can only get better.
