Did anyone else see the Deerhounds on the 'History of Scotland' last night - there were 2 and there was only a fleeting glance of them but they looked great! Were they yours Rob/Elise?

Hi Houndy

Yes, it's the Cusidh deerhounds in that episode. We're just co-owners though with my Mum. There's more of them in episode four where they are running through the woods which was filmed in Glasgow at the Burrell. In episode four there's also Rosslyn Neil running with the three Cusidh girls. My Mum has written more about 'our experience' on her web site click here or go to www.cusidh.co.uk. I think I've now recovered from the event!

Also if you prefer the edited highlights please see Rogue's video on this site or on his excellent blog. I wouldn't hold it against you if you didn't want to watch the whole series!

Had pleasant surprise. I'd forgotten all about the dogs being in the programme , but I was watching it anyway because I'm interested in British history. It suddenly dawned on me that I'd seen those dogs in that exact setting before ! Then I realised it was 'THE' programme
What's it like living with TV stars, has it gone to their heads ? Do they have their own trailer with Highland Spring in gold water bowls ?

Yes, the pressure of media stardom has been difficult for them to manage - or maybe they were just difficult to start with? When out and about they're often asked for a pawtograph too.

It must get very tedious having the press camped on your doorstep. Oh the price of fame!

Hi all
I'm rehashing this topic as the series is being shown here now but I think I have missed the episodes with the dogs. The episode just screened was the one about Mary, Queen of Scots and her son James.
Anyone have an idea of where we are up to?

Cheers

Hi Joerg and Yoki - pleased you liked the programme. Your new puppy looks excellent. Have been enjoying the photos.

Hi Brollachan - the dogs are mainly in episode 4 - Language is Power. I think Mary Queen of Scots was in episode 5 (Project Britain) so I think you might be looking at repeats now to get episode 4.
