Elise and I have been away in France without Internet access for a week, so thanks to everyone who let me know about the various problems with the site. Its made it much easier for me to sort things out - there were nearly 700 emails about the site whilst we were away!

Please everyone keep reporting problems and abuse in the forum.

I have mentioned it on the site bug bit but I will mention it again.

Why can't I see the photos being posted sometimes and then next time I go into the site
I can and then sometimes they are not there again? WEIRD!

I've just replied to your other post about the photo thing. What browser do you use to view the site ( I mean is it Internet Explorer, 6, 7, or something else) You can normally find out your version by clicking help about.
Here's a picture (hope you can see it) of Elise and Lachie bringing in the morning bread - the dogs stayed at home - hence the bread is still in one piece...

Yep I can see that one, brill photo but I can't see the photo of Foggy, Elvees puppy.

Sorry Rob, useless with computers. had a look, I just know it is internet explorer,
how do I find out what number? Another quirky thing is that every time I post on the
forum my session expires and I have to log back in.

That sounds very odd. I bet (hope) you are using an older version of Internet Explorer. There should be a menu bar along the top of the screen - file - edit - etc - etc - help. Click the help menu then "About Internet Explorer". In Internet explorer 7 the menu is often hidden for some reason. Press the alt key and it should appear.

Ah that explains it! IE 8 isn't out as a stable release yet. Its still in testing. I haven't tested the site using IE 8 yet...
It could be that there is a fault with the version you are using that will be fixed when the final release comes out (in which case you will just have to wait) or it might be that there is a problem with the site that you can only see when you use IE8. I will install it on my computer and see if I get the same problem as you.
In the mean time I have resized all the large pictures on the forum, which I suspect may fix the problem temporarily.

Thanks Sally I'm glad you mentioned it, I might be able to fix the problem before more people start using IE8!
