There has been a lot of talk lately about temperment etc so I thought I would remind us all why we love these hounds of ours.

They can be so elegant and refined and most of all affectionate.

Well nearly all of them.



She will stop anywhere for a tummy rub!

She reminds me of my girlie Eris as I walk past her her leg comes out and she nearly trips me up. My other dearies used to do this as well.

She is lovely I have never seen a dog sleeping like a deerhound they are totally amazing. Norbert can sleeps everywere and in how many positions at all.

Ah yes...the old "trip the human as they walk pass" trick Deerhounds are reknown for it

I think only deerhounds can look elegant in such a position...
